Space, dived. NovaDiVR runs submerged in a neutral-buoyancy pool exactly as astronauts train — the water cancels your weight while the headset puts you on an orbital exterior, a parabolic flight or a habitat walkthrough.

Neutral buoyancy is how astronauts train — and how you fly

NovaDiVR runs submerged in a neutral-buoyancy pool, the same method space agencies use for EVA training. The water removes your weight while the headset places you outside a station, in a parabolic arc or inside a habitat, so zero-g stops being a picture and becomes a feeling.

Authentic zero-g analogue

Neutral buoyancy is the industry-standard ground substitute for microgravity — the same one used for EVA rehearsal.

Full-body freedom

You rotate, tumble and translate hand-over-hand along handrails instead of steering with a controller.

Comfort at length

Because motion cues match, sessions run far longer than seated zero-g VR without disorientation.

Procedure rehearsal

Tool handling, tether discipline and translation paths can be practised exactly as they are in a training pool.

Weightless without a flight

No parabolic aircraft, no medical screening — a pool session delivers minutes, not seconds, of weightlessness.

Stereoscopic orbital capture

Orbital exteriors and habitat interiors are captured in dual-eye 8K so scale reads correctly at arm's length.

NovaDiVR questions

Is this real microgravity?

No — it is neutral buoyancy, the same analogue used for astronaut EVA training. Your weight is cancelled by the water rather than by free-fall.

Do I need diving experience?

No. NovaDiVR sessions are run shallow with a supervising safety diver, on snorkel or supplied air depending on the venue.

Can it be used for real training?

Yes — agencies and academies use NovaDiVR for translation, tool and procedure familiarisation ahead of pool or flight time.

How is the headset kept dry?

It isn't dry — it is a sealed submersible unit built for pool use, with wireless streaming and overlay control from the operator console.

How long can a session run?

Typical NovaDiVR sessions run 30–60 minutes, limited by pool time and thermal comfort rather than by simulator sickness.
