AquaDiVR is played back in the water. You wear the headset in a pool, dive tank or open water while neutrally buoyant, so your body is weightless and your inner ear agrees with what your eyes see. That is why an AquaDiVR dive feels like a dive instead of a video.

NovaDiVR runs submerged in a neutral-buoyancy pool, the same method space agencies use for EVA training. The water removes your weight while the headset places you outside a station, in a parabolic arc or inside a habitat, so zero-g stops being a picture and becomes a feeling.
